 ABOUT
LUKE
I am 33 years old, and have worked in the marine industry
for 12 years, as a boat builder/repairer, a mast maker
in both carbon and alloy, a rigger, and as a sailmaker
for the last 5 years.
I have been the local IMS and IRC measurer for the
past decade. I have two children Alexander 5, and
Angelique 3.
I have sailed all my life, beginning in dinghies and
in cruising and racing keelboats for the last 20 years.
I have competed in 5 Sydney to Hobarts, and currently
sail on a Mumm 30. Twice national champions and runner
up. I love cruising and twilight racing on a Cole
35, called Esprit.
 ABOUT JOHN
I am 49.9 years old single father of a sixteen (going
on 30) year old daughter.I have worked as a shipwright
most of my working life, from planked to exotic.
I have travelled extensively through the Pacific,
North America, Europe and the Middle East. Working
from Salmon Trawlers out of Vancouver Island, to planking
Feluccas on the Nile. My sailing experience has been
racing sharpies and Etchells, and cruising through
the Pacific.
We enjoy the variety and challenge of sailmaking and
anticipate a sucessful and rewarding relationship
within the Lidgard Sails group. We look forward to
meeting the rest of you at some time.
